Meet Paul
Licensed Master Social Worker
Welcoming New Clients
I truly believe that at our core, every human being shares a fundamental desire: to be deeply heard, valued, and understood. Throughout my career as a behavior specialist, general education teacher, and lead school counselor, I have dedicated myself to creating safe, collaborative spaces where individuals can show up as their authentic selves. My deep roots in education have fueled a passion for listening to and supporting children, adolescents, and families as they navigate the unique pressures of academic anxiety, ADHD, bullying, and social dynamics.
In my clinical practice, I expand this support to adults, with a dedicated focus on the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities—spaces I am deeply proud to be a part of. My approach is client-focused, relational, and deeply grounded in a strengths-based framework. I operate from the belief that you already possess resilience and internal resources; together, we will discover how to leverage those strengths to navigate life transitions, manage stress, and foster self-worth. In addition to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I actively lean on Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Reality Therapy to tailor our work to your specific goals.
On a personal note, my life journey has taken me from growing up in suburban New Jersey to living and working across the West Coast, Texas, and the Southeast. My approach is shaped by a global perspective; alongside exploring all 50 states, my travels throughout Canada, Mexico, and Europe have broadened my understanding of human connection, cultural nuance, and identity. I am eager to bring this unique lens to the vibrant Atlanta community, creating a warm space of genuine connection and collaborative healing.
