Being an art therapist is genuinely exciting for me. I have the privilege of combining two of my passions - art/creative expression and helping others - to support my community and assist in your journey to improving your quality of life. Discovering healthy and creative forms of expression and self-acceptance is both empowering and insightful for those who find a voice through the creative processes of making art in its many mediums. During our time together, I help you and/or your child explore self, environment, and relationships in this safe space beyond language and conversation.
When working with children, I respect that words and language are often lost. A child's language is often non-verbal expression, whether play, art, or imagery. To truly understand the world from a child's lens, we must meet them at their level, and communicate in their language. Only then will growth and change happen.
Though adults rely on words for expression and communication, verbal language sometimes isn't enough to truly capture our experience. My work with adults taps into the experience beyond language, helping you better understand yourself, your environment, and the people around you. In this process, you can more easily identify your strengths, and use them for growth and development toward a more healthy and aware self. Fees
Individual Supervision - $100/hr
Dyad Supervision - $60/hr
Group Supervision is $100 for 2 hours - Group meets the first Friday of each month
I also have my CPCS credentials, so supervision can also count toward LPC licensure
