Clinical Yoga Therapist
Thai Yoga Bodywork Practitioner
500hr Yoga Teacher
Hello! I'm Amanda. I'm a firm believer in our innate ability to heal through mind-body-spirit connectivity and restoration. Yoga therapy is a scientific and spiritual method of prioritizing a person as a whole, not just individual symptoms to be treated. The body responds to the environment of the mind and vice versa and through whole-person care, we can curate personalized practices for any one to heal naturally.
In my work, I infuse neuroscience, somatic therapy, traditional yoga teachings, Thai bodywork and more to hold space for my clients, to listen and hear their needs, and to help them feel healthier and more connected through a myriad of practices such as movement, breath work, reflection, and meditation. I guide my clients to cultivate confidence and empowerment, to release and relax, to give and to receive, and to explore the dynamic flow of life while maintaining a calm center.
A big portion of my work has been in holding space for small groups to navigate grief. Experiencing loss of any kind can feel incredibly isolating and challenging to go about our daily lives. In these groups, we explore practices together that can help us not only navigate grief but to truly honor it and hold this experience of life and death with more reverence than push it away due to the discomfort that arises. Check out our Groups page for upcoming Grief Group dates.

It is a floor-based, fully clothed bodywork session that incorporates elements of Thai massage, restorative yoga, assisted stretching, compression, and energy work.
