New Client Requests
Making the decision to begin therapy is a courageous act of self-love. I will partner with you on your journey of self-discovery, healing and wellness. As a person-centered therapist I strive to create an atmosphere of compassion, empathy and respect.
I do so by utilizing both counseling and art therapy for a unique and impactful therapeutic experience. Art therapy involves making art to discover, process, and heal what limits you from living your best life. Art therapy is not about being a world class artist. Rather, it is an alternative form of communication and expression that goes beyond what is possible through talk therapy alone.
I have experience working with a diverse range of client populations, including: families, children, elderly people, immigrant communities, and people with substance use disorders. Most recently I worked as an in-home family therapist for children and families involved in the foster care system. In my free time, I enjoy making art, hiking, and spending time with my family and our two cats.
