FAQ's
How do I use the friends discount? Add code "Friend" when checking out for a reduced fee of $200. When your friend signs up, they will also use the code "Friend" and enter your name on their registration form.
What materials do I need for this course? You'll just need some basic art supplies like paper, pencils, men and any crafting materials you enjoy working with. A more detailed list of suggestions will be provided after registration.
What if I miss a week? I get it, life happens and you may need to miss a week. If you know you will miss, please email me so I know not to expect you. Groups will not be recorded, but if you miss, I will follow up with an email outlining what was done so you can use the time between groups to catch up.
What if I use the friend discount, but a friend doesn't end up registering? Sometimes people don't follow through as we would like! If no one registers by Jan 2nd with your name, an invoice for $24 will be emailed to you and can be paid online.
Is this a therapy group? No. Although the facilitator is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and this course does incorporate therapeutic elements, it is not a substitute for professional therapy. This group is designed to support you in your own personal growth and does not allow for individualized processing as professional therapy would.
Can I join even if I don't have a specific intention in mind? Yes! This experience is designed for both those with clear intentions and those looking to discover and define their goals during the journey.
Do I need to have artistic skills to join? Not at all! Even if you don't feel like a creative person, you are still welcome. This group is designed for everyone, regardless of artistic talent or experience. The focus is self-exploration and personal growth. All about the process, not the product!
How interactive is this group? The experience is set up to allow for you to have your own personal reflective journey. There will be times in which sharing with the group is an option for those who would like to share, but there is never an expectation or requirement to engage with other participants or talk.
What makes this experience unique? This carefully crafted experience combines creativity, art making, and journal writing to guide you through a unique process of uncovering intentions, clarifying needs, getting in touch with the Self, and defining action steps towards desired growth.
Can I gift this to someone? Yes! When filling out the registration form, you can add the info for who you are gifting it to. Registration info and notice of your gift will be emailed to them on the date you specify. You will also receive a pdf flyer with details of the experience that you can give to the recipient!

facillitator
My name is Megan Bryant and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Board Certified Art Therapist at The Peaceful Place. I have seen and experienced the benefits of using creativity not only in my therapy work with clients, but for my own self-care and improved wellness.
This experience has been specially designed to introduce others to using creativity and art making for self care. I am also a certified Journal to the Self instructor, and incorporate many techniques of journal writing to assist in deeper personal growth.
I look forward to guiding you through this journey as you uncover your intentions and craft meaningful growth.
